OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
We’re following the recommendations from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, Indian Health Service, State and Local Departments to keep our community and Team Members healthy. To help reduce the spread, we have implemented a safe process for appointments, in-person visits, COVID-19 drive thru testing and COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters.


CLINIC SAFETY MEASURES

  • Face mask or face shield worn by all individuals 2 years old and older
  • Patient screenings as they enter the facility
  • Hands free temperature checks
  • Social Distancing in patient areas
  • Enhance cleaning and disinfecting
  • Virtual visits offered

COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Hours

(unless agency is closed or a shortage in test supplies)
WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR SCHEDULED COVID-19 TEST DAY

  • Bring proof of ID for 18 years and older
  • Minors must be accompanied by adult whom has proof of ID
  • Pull up to COVID-19 testing trailer and remain in your car
  •  Maintain windows up until instructed
  • No walk-ins, must have a scheduled appointment
  • Test results should be available by end of the day, We will call you with the results

COVID-19 VACCINE

We are administering Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and boosters
(contingent upon available supplies)

Current AIHFS patients may receive their vaccine during their next scheduled appointment or come as a walk-in

VACCINE WALK-INS

  • No appointment necessary
  • Wednesdays and Fridays only until 4pm
  • Open to the public
  • Call to check what vaccines are available @ (313) 846-6030

GETTING READY FOR YOUR COVID-19 Vaccine or BOOSTER

  • Bring proof of ID (Driver’s License, Passport, State ID, Detroit ID Card)
  • Bring your vaccination card if this is not your first dose
  • Minors must be accompanied by legal guardian
  • Come by yourself or a maximum of one companion to assist those requiring assistance
  •  Wear face mask or face shield
  • Stay 6ft away from others while inside of facility
  • Wear clothing that allows clinician to easily access your upper arm
  • You will be asked to wait 15 minutes after your shot to monitor for any reactions
