Suicide Prevention - Manidookewigashkibjigan
SACRED BUNDLE
Ages 10-24
The Sacred Bundle Project is committed to identifying at-risk youth, training others to identify and intervene with youth in crisis, and providing education about suicide prevention. We are dedicated to spreading awareness, educating about prevention efforts, and encouraging our community to combat the stigma around suicide.
Sacred Bundle’s Services Include:
- Outreach- By increasing awareness of suicide prevention, we engage our community to participate in prevention efforts.
- Trainings (Individuals and Providers) – Learn how to identify at-risk youth and the steps necessary to ensure proper care is received.
- Screenings- We screen youth to increase the identification of those at-risk and in need of treatment.
- Treatment- Referrals are made to the appropriate level of care through our network of trusted providers

There will be opportunities to share input on the GLS project and sometimes we will have formal focus groups. The voice of our elders, youth, and community members is greatly valued and essential for us making a difference in how suicide is viewed and addressed within our community.
